SELA: The International Private School, is a private school founded in 2004 with the “goal of preparing English-speaking children to excel linguistically, academically, and socially in the global society through instruction in a second (Spanish) and a third (Mandarin) language". Currently located in Hingham, MA with classrooms for preschool through sixth grade, the preliminary concept study for the school’s 36,000 sf expansion was designed by Philippe Thibault Architect and RWH Architect. A conceptual floor plan was developed along with a playful exterior facade to bring life into a municipal space.
