Following extensive damage caused by fire, RWH was immediately brought in to repair and update the 2-story Rig-a-Tony’s Italian Takeout located in Derry, NH. The ownership decided as part of the building repair, the restaurant would also undergo a rebranding. The new restaurant design was developed harmoniously with the new branding as an inspiration for the look and feel of the space. The Client indicated a heavily “Italianate” esthetic mixed with an elevated and more mature appearance. The restaurant has 3 main market areas: Made to order foods (drive-through, call-in, or counter orders); Take out (pre-prepared foods in coolers); and Carry Out Catering. Emphasis was given to developing an efficient kitchen design that reduces production time. The client likes the honesty of an open-face kitchen which incorporates an extensive prep area, outdoor seating area, small indoor seating area, and a welcoming service counter.
